Epson WorkForce DS-C330 Portable Sheet-fed Document Scanner is a compact and efficient scanning solution designed for both home and office use. This model, made by Epson, originates from Japan and may be manufactured in China, Indonesia, the Philippines, or Thailand, depending on shipment. It supports A4 sheet-fed scanning with simplex colour scanning capability, and can also be used with an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). The scanner uses dual Colour Contact Image Sensors (CIS) with RGB LED lights to deliver clear and accurate results. It offers an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and output resolution ranging from 50 to 1,200 dpi, adjustable in 1 dpi increments.
The scanner handles colour, grayscale, and black-and-white documents with 30-bit, 10-bit, and 1-bit processing depth as required. It supports a wide document size range, from 50.8 x 50.8 mm up to 215.9 x 3,048 mm, and works with paper weights from 40 g/m² up to 413 g/m² depending on the feed path. In terms of speed, at 300 dpi it scans up to 30 pages per minute or 60 images per minute in both colour and monochrome, while at 600 dpi it reaches 5 ppm and 10 ipm. It is compatible with Windows 7 to 11 and multiple server versions, as well as Mac OS X 10.9 or later, and supports TWAIN, SANE, WIA, ICA, and ISIS drivers. Bundled software includes Epson Scan 2, ISIS Driver, OCR components, and Document Capture Pro for Windows, with compatibility for various file formats like JPEG, TIFF, PDF, PNG, DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX.
