QNAP TS-464-8G 4 Bay Tower Desktop NAS Storage is a high-performance network storage solution made for home users, studios, and small to medium businesses that need speed, flexibility, and stable data access. It runs on an Intel Celeron N5095 4-core processor with boost speed up to 2.9GHz and a 64-bit x86 architecture, paired with Intel UHD Graphics, floating point support, AES-NI encryption, and hardware-accelerated transcoding for smooth media and file handling.
This NAS comes with 8GB DDR4 SODIMM memory pre-installed and supports up to 16GB through two memory slots. It also includes 4GB flash memory with dual boot OS protection for system safety. The unit supports four 3.5-inch SATA drive bays and also works with 2.5-inch SATA SSDs, with hot-swap support for easy drive changes. Two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 3 slots are available for SSD cache acceleration, helping improve system and storage speed. Hard drives are not included.
