This drive is developed in close collaboration with NAS device manufacturers and is designed to support multi-RAID systems with up to eight drive bays for safe and stable access to large amounts of data 24/7. RV sensors are built into the drive to help prevent read or write errors due to vibration between drives in multi-drive systems. The N300 series supports a storage capacity of up to 180 TB per year, making it stronger than the average desktop hard drive. The high-endurance internal components and the ability to automatically control the speed of the drive minimize the heat generated during operation, making it a long-lasting drive even when subjected to high loads. The drive also features a large 512 MB cache and cache management to provide fast read and write speeds.
The helium-filled drive reduces power consumption, minimizes drive friction, and maintains quiet operation at a 20 dB idle noise level.
