Avision AD5800 Document Scanner
Avision AD5800 Document Scanner is a high-speed, high-volume scanner designed for busy office environments. It provides fast scanning at up to 80 ppm for monochrome and 160 ipm for color scans in color, grayscale, and monochrome modes at 300 dpi resolution, enabling you to finish scanning in a shorter period.
This scanner accommodates documents up to the size of A3 paper (297 x 432 mm). This scanner also includes a 100-sheet automatic document feeder and a daily duty cycle of up to 15,000 pages, which makes it fit for high-volume workspaces. The Avision AD5800 Document Scanner is equipped with a 1.77" LCD screen and an intuitive control panel for effortless scanning. You can set your desired scan preferences and transmit your file to any desired destination, such as email, printer, or any software applications. In addition, you can store up to nine scan profiles on this scanner. Having two reading heads, the scanner allows users to scan the front and back sides of the page simultaneously, thus increasing work speed. Automatic cropping and skew correction are incorporated into image processing to provide users with higher-quality scans.
In addition to that, there is ultrasonic double-feed detection incorporated into this device in order to increase its accuracy. Also, this scanner can handle documents up to 240 inches (6096 mm) long and is able to scan documents of that size without problems. The scanner Avision AD5800 has TWAIN and ISIS drivers and offers some additional software, including Button Manager V2, AVScan, and PaperPort. The software allows users to make searchable PDFs and transfer them to such clouds as Google Drive, Dropbox, Evernote, and SharePoint, for example.
